![]() MSI SUPPORT says 90-92 GPU temperature is normal for gaming notebooks. Please message us if this happens so we can manually approve your post. I made a video to explain the problems better. Would anyone happen to know why MSI Center is only showing me my gpu temps and specs in Hardware monitoring I recently upgraded to a new gpu, made sure all drivers were up to date and such and when i first opened MSI center to fiddle with the lighting on the gpu I noticed I was only getting GPU specs in Hardware monitoring. Rule#5: FALSE REPORTING ANYONE OR POSTS WILL RESULT IN A BAN Rule#4: SUBMISSION GUIDELINES MUST BE FOLLOWED OR THE POST WILL BE REMOVED I have Frontier FIOS and get 900mb+ up and down on laptop. ![]() Machine runs great but I cant play games CPU Heat Range. ![]() Rule#3: THIS SUBREDDIT IS ABOUT GAMING LAPTOPS NOT ANYTHING ELSE! The one thing I have noticed is my CPU runs very hot and seems to throttle the whole machine while gaming, even when I use the turbo fan option. Rule#2: No Spamming Anyone For Any Reason! Why would MSI Center Hardware monitoring show high temperature when the bios and core temp shows something completely different, These readings are with minor loads on the cpu. Please make sure you read everything before posting! Also the rules are explained in dept on the wiki so read that too! I downloaded temp core and was looking at that the same time and it showed temp in the low 40s. Another one called GPU Temp does a nice very nice graph over the GPU temperature and does a chart from when the program is started, but doesn't show load or CPU temperature/load.Result of the above survey will be posted publicly on our subreddit upon its conclusion, so fill it out to help current and future users! It also only monitored the GPU, otherwise it was a step in the right direction. I tried GPU-Z, but it had such tiny graphs that didn't show the values, and only logged a few minutes. There is probably something out there that does all of this, but I haven't found it when googling.
